This lower receiver is the perfect base for your rifle or pistol build! We start with an aluminum billet, and machine it into our unique, flared magwell design lower receiver. We then broach your receiver’s magwell for quick, and flawless magazine changes. We then tumble your receiver to take off any microscopic sharp edges that might still remain. Finally, we anodize it, using a mil-spec process.
Machined to mil-spec dimensions, and compatible with mil-spec sized components. Machined in Kearney, Nebraska, USA by Americans.
NOTE:
This is a controlled item and requires shipping to an authorized and valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. All items placed on order with this item will be shipped together to the FFL. Federal law requires that you be 21 years of age or older to purchase a stripped receiver or frame. If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver not a handgun or long gun. However, they still are “firearms” by definition, and subject to the same GCA limitations as any other firearms. See Section 921(a)(3)(b). 18 U.S.C. Section 922(b)(1) makes it unlawful for a licensee to sell any firearm other than a shotgun or rifle to any person under the age of 21.

Selected the Fort lower for the aggressive magazine styling and have done business with Fort MFG before, they’re known for their attention to detail, precision, and customer support. This product was no exception. Anodizing was on par with anyone. No issues installing a CMMG lower parts kit. Mated with a 458 SOCOM upper with no issue, zero slop. This is the only place for me to get lowers now.
